Well this is mainly a thread to get some idea's and opinion's about what people would like to see added to this mod.I'm personally leaning towards a whole lot of addition's to make use of the already great cube stuff.Mor eof a fun mod I think but definately updated.
So post any idea's and comments about the upcoming cubaholics extended mod...Here:

Well the set recipies are easily implemented. Maybe make a recipie for generating gold? I know it can be done. You just have to use "gld" as the output. Problem is I can't seem to figure out how to get it to give you more than just a little gold.

Hmmm new morphing capabilities.You read my mind bud lol,was thinking of that on monday.The possibilities for that aspect are outrageous. ;)
The gold thing,well probably but I really can't see why when you can already make unreal amounts of gold.But I'll look at it.
With this mod i'm going to open up everything and cut loose.This should be a total fun mod so be ready to see different and probably unexpected things lol.
I'm also going to throw in a bunch of gemwords but with a little diff stuff on them heh heh.
And how about this for a change....I'll make all the wps backwards lol.For an unexpected change and to throw people for a loop.Makes looking for the wp's more of a challenge and a priority instead of ignoring some of them.I'm evil lol...Hmm actually thats a good idea for something else too....
Come to think of it how about a whole bunch of new sets devoted to the phrozen keep staff lol.Phrozen's Godlike Crap, Onyx's Demonic plague, Kingpin's Better late than never, etc ...lol ;)
Something diff to think about ,as you can see I'm going to go all over with this since there are no real limits and besides it's meant as a fun mod.So it shall be heh heh..

Well the problem with the Elixer is you'll never use it all unless you spend it 100,000 at a time. Well that and having that much money on hand is kinda silly in a majorly game breaking sort of way. I' was thinking of something like 2 chipped gems > more than 500 cash.

True ,but honestly what good is the cash anyways?I mean to buy stuff but not great stuff and if it's for gambling...well what if I just raise the gambling ratio higher to make it harder to get whatever stuff lol.I'm making this a more fun mod now so whatever is in it right now can probably stay or be fixed a little.
I really like most of the stuff the way it is I'm simply going to make some changes to it.But as for addition's well those will be alot heh heh.I'm thinking about this constantly lately,probably cause my brain needed a break from my underworld mod lol.I already have a beginning mpq part of the new addition and a data folder filled with some new addition's also.So I actually have been busy heh heh.
Lots more to do though but maybe I'll release a beta for people to try out and see if they like the new look.Then I can proceed from there depending on how well it's taken.
Anyways keep the great idea's coming and dnt be shy throw everything out there....

Well for my version of it I made it ridiculously easy to get Set and Unique items by gambling. That made the gold more useful.

Well again for your mod by all means go ahead.But I have no intention of doing that in the cube extended,makes no sense when you can make set's and uniques.Why gamble for them?lol
But again each to his own.I'm almost ready to release the first version of extended cubaholics,probably next week.Should have enough to keep everyone looking around for more lol.....
Now to get serious about those staff set's lol and get em in.

Too true Boss,but I can't let everyone know the new cube stuff yet lol. ;)
The other stuff is just icing on the cake that's all,nothing hard or anything about it just added some stuff to spice it up.The real stuff is the cubing stuff.But you're bursting my bubble of secrecy here lol. :)
So yes there are new cubing stuff coming ok all....There it's said and now I have no surprise left....sniff..sniff... :cry:

How about some recipes that gives you unique skills?

I start with a first one.

Polymorph: Turn target creature into chicken (you simply use the morph teqnique, but change target enemy instead of yourself).

Seem to vaguely remember someone mentioning polymorph a LOOOONG time back, possibly with the unused camel animations. Just clone a curse and switch the state's gfxclass to the monstat id of your choice ;)
