And cc nailed third place so at least two of the top three (maybe three as I think Nightblade has emailed me about the mod before too) came from the PH guys  One of the main reasons it was even fairer is that (judge) Joel didn't know who made what and (judge) Char had never heard of you guys ;)

Good job

Really nice job.
Can one have a look at the winner's sets anywhere?

You know Vhaeghar, I was tempted to have you submit that one set on my behalf. Then I thought, what would happen if it won. Easy I would have to give credit where credit was due. :D Which would mean of course that I'd have to tell everyone that it was basically my idea, but you helped tweak it and did the files for it. :) But I will just be happy to have it in PH.

Congratulations, cc and Vhaeghar!

One thing though, I looked at both sets and I have to agree with Char that Vhaeghar's set was slightly overpowered. Will that be rectified?

As long as they both end up with AD&D-based names ;)

it may be overpowered for classic, but have you seen some of the stuff at high end in this mod? *laugh*

Greygods mantle for example, +4 skills armour with three sockets =)

It's certainly not overpowered in this mods context =)

My mistake, sorry. I haven't found any stuff which would really be considered overpowered in vanilla LoD yet.

I would like mine in the mod, nothing beats finding something cool you came up with, but I got no knowledge of AD&D so I can't come up with any names and I don't really want it to be turned into Random Name's Whatever and Random Name's Whichever. Would completely loose its flavor (which most of the modifiers are based on) that comes from the vision of Uncle Al so if anyone can come up with an AD&D bunch of guys that have got the tiniest bit of comparable relationship I would be really grateful.

Yeah, but that's what we have the Underdark for ain't it? ;)

Now we know who to lynch in the future. :)

I'm not sure what a rune-tree is, but if you mean runeword, I did suggest a runeword contest but Phrozen didn't continue on that path and Char never replied, so it probably won't be for the near future.

No, Pagan Heart has different tablets of runes. You have orcish, gnomish, elemental, etc. cc made the four tablets that were added in the last patch, so that's what the comment is about.

Char wanted a break from this one although we've got at least two other judges (plus Joel if he's interested again - see the staff forum) volunteered already so the idea is evolving slowly :)
