Like stated in my €dit: Every new Augmenter starts with lvl120 too :-/ can this be an issue with bd's file?

What files did he send you exactly? Did you overwrite any files when copying his edit? I'm guessing that this is causing those problems.

hi again Alpha - i pasted a .misc file - his was considerably larger (more stuff inside) and I kinda just overwrote the other one ... let me check if I can fix things - thanks for your help so far - i'll report back

Just check if you were overwriting any of the original files my "patch" included. Only problem I could imagine with the misc.txt is, that he used a older version. In that case get the misc.txt from the latest community patch and simply copy his changes over.

I now tried to install ES all new, then your Patch (all flawlessly) then copy the line that deals with maples from misc.txt (as used by BD) and insert into the original ES misc.txt - I then get an unhandles access violation ... somewhere else I gotta put that line?

Is it possible to switch off the permanent map regeneration when starting a new game? I would really like to keep great presets and now it seems to reroll me a new map every game

Did you installed the lastest plugy version or do you still have the one that came with ES?

Change the following line inside plugy.ini.

Hmm I always get an error stating I ain't allowed to make changes within the file ... (D2 is closed as everything else and I'm admin user) ... sorry to bug you for that

Edit: ´managed to fix it by creating a new file outside sys folder and replaced the original one - works fine now

I would like only the Goldpickup option added to the game...is it possible to put it in normal ES installation so it works??? I have no Com patches installed,running the last official version on Win 7 64 bit...

Sure. Download the patch I uploaded. Take only the gold pickup.dll. And copy the the line for it into your D2Mod.ini.

And again I'm the annoying one (sorry for that) - when Playing ES with your Patch and in D2SE I only get 1/1/2 from the skillquests - so missing out on 12 Skillpoints all together.

Is there a way to fix that so I get the correct amount of points? :-) thanks

That should be caused by the D2SE version. If you use the original files plus community patches you should be fine.

The ES version linked in snej board? Download it here and patch over the commnunity patch. After create a D2SE_Setup.ini yourself. That should work.

As a possible fix, you can try adding QuestSkills to UTILITY section of d2mod.ini
Alpha only listed the following from Utility section:

Code: [Select]

PlayersXmin = 1
PlayersXmax = 16
StashGold = 500000
InvGold = 500000

And it needs to have this in it to get what you want :
Code: [Select]

QuestSkills = 2,2,3

Try adding that, but it will only work for future quest rewards, it will not act retroactively

Not sure why it stopped working as before, but it may have something to do with what Alpha changed

*I had originally thought that ES had the "QuestSkills = 2,2,3" in d2mod.ini under UTILITY section to make that work as it did, but after re-downloading a fresh copy and reviewing the ini, it doesn't.*

Hi,

First, I want to say that I recently started playing Eastern Sun again and I am ecstatic that the community is still live and has begun creating new patches for this great mod.

I want to bring up a bug I have noticed and I'm not too sure what is causing it.

When I switch weapons using W on my Sorceress, for some reason my -enemy fire resistance stacks, in intervals of 4. I kept doing this and capped out at -254. I don't think this is simply a display issue because I tested the damage on Hell Lost Farm and after I stack it, I do tons more damage.

Let me know if you are able to reproduce this bug also!

I'm not sure if I've ever had this bug before, but I remade my Sorceress (Because I edited my d2mod.ini so that my Skill Quests would be updated for ES because I use D2SE). The bug begins during Nightmare, but I'm not too sure what causes it. I've only been playing Sorceress so I don't know if this bug happens on other characters

Hi all,

I found the cause of the bug. When you cast Fire Armor is when you can begin stacking -Enemy Fire Resistance mod. I haven't tested with Frost or Shock armor yet though.

Also, I'm running into an error that force closes my D2. Whenever I enter GFraizer Dome, I get this error:

Is this error patch specific? I don't think I ever ran into this problem before, and I ran GFraizer Dome before this patch.

Try it without the Statfix.dll. Can't think of anything else that could cause new game crashes. I'll look into the -%Res bug you found. Thanks for posting.

Edit: I just did 5 gfraizer dome runs without any problems. Could you upload your debuglog for me, might find something in there.
