I'm a bit fuzzy on how to install all these files from v1.00... I havn't gotten beyond that though. I played this mod ages ago, and I don't know what's changed, and what I have to install to get back to playing again. Anyone want to tell me which directories all the files go into?

Well what you have to do for starters is revert to v1.09. How you're going to do that is totally up to you, but since you can find the 1.09 patch on the blizzard website, reinstalling D2 is an option. Check inside your Diablo folder though, I just happened to have a folder named '1.09 backup' and all I had to do was copy those files into the Diablo folder.

Then the rest is pretty easy. Just download everything, unzip the files into the same directory (any directory) in the following order:
1) Runemod v1.0
2) Runemod patch v1.1
3) Updated launcher

Then run 'SGRuneMod.exe' and you're good to go!
