D2 crash - ACT5 nm bartuc the bloody dies

Im having a big problem with my elemental druid, whenever i kill bartuc the bloody in the throne room, my diablo 2 crashes.

Am i the only one with this problem? (Using Volcano, poison vine and dire wolves)

This is a half-known bug :o

I have had others mention this problem before and yet have been unable to reproduce it :(
The only time I have been able to get this bug to work (so to speak ;)) was before I had released the version that changes the monsters in that area.
I was sure this was fixed as I tested it multiple times but I guess it's not :(

In the next version (I'll release that today) this should be fixed - back to the way it was.

Good to hear, but it's kinda frustratiing to be stuck in ACT5 nm :)

Yeah the elemental Druid is one of those builds I'd like to try out but have not had the time :(

I still want to play my new bow Barbarian and there are a few others that are on the cards hehe ;)

Btw, uploading now, 30mins to go :)

I really wonder what/how/why the bug you mention keeps coming up - a few others have said they get the same problem in Nightmare but then Normal and Hell are fine, odd.

Hehe i will be waiting but i will probably first have it tested tomorrow its WAY to late for me here ( 02:51 :roll: - you live on the other side of the globe then ;D ) - Luckily no school tomorrow

EDIT: On your site you link to 3.27d.... but when i click on the link im prompted to 3.24d download
Im also a bit concerned about some of the changes, it looks like that you have lovered mana regeneration rates on most of the charcters. This is for me as a "summon" and "elemental" druid a disaster. Dire wolves cost around 40 mana (and they need to be recast often) and my volcano over 65 mana...so i kinda need that regeneration :/

The pages are there just not the file as yet :(
It is uploading now - had to use the phone for a bit.

The changes to mana regen are really just a bug-fix, in 3.27 they are as they should have been in 3.24.
Basically the Druid's mana orb will take twice as long as normal to refill.
There are the Caster Crafting recipies :)

In a similar manner to the way Stamina works currently I'm trying to do the same with +Mana Regeneration and +Mana items - that is to make them much more useful than they were previously.

Well i dowloaded the 3.26d, went to kill baals minions, and yet it still crashes, i have no problem whatsoever in killing him on normal.

EDIT:Why does it say 3.26d at title screen when it should be 3.27d?

I have just tested the mana regeneration, and to be honest, i cannot imagine how im going to get enough regeneration/mana to support my spells (all of them use over 40 mana per cast and wolves die all the time)
500 mana with 20% regeneration... (150 pts in energy)

What did you nerf it down to? [30]? i suggest setting it to 80 or something.

I am pretty sure I've fixed the NM Bartuc bug :D
Couldn't get it to crash so thats a good thing.

The titlescreen thing is always something I forget to change :o

I've set the Druid's regeneration rate to be a little slower than normal but still okish - I'll need to test this a bit more and see where exactly it should sit and how the skills should work with/around it.
