And here we have a new project:

Diablo II: Unleashed Evil

~ Short Story ~

The Phrime Evils have been defeated and the Soul stones are destroyed. Warriors from all over the world are fighting for the remaining Soul Stone shards, which they believe give great power to the owner. But, they do not know that the shards also posses great evil.

There are five clans that has found the shards and the clan leaders have been driven mad by the shards, declaring war against those who will not obey them.

The shards must be taken to "The Temple Of Doom", where they will be protected from all those who seek their powers. If not, the Phrime Evils will once again walk the earth.

Stat/Level increased to 10.

Monsters replaced by human enemies.
Phrime Evils replaced.
Realistic drop (Enemy drop equipped weapon and armor!)
Difficulty level changed.
New items.

Here comes an update on the mod's progress!



~ Major changes ~

Items are only restricted by level, no more str req or dex req.
Maximum level is 200
Mana regeneration time is 1/4 of the original time.

Demon (Necromancer) - Daggers, Magic
Archer (Amazon) - Bow
Mage (Sorceress) - Staff, Magic
Mercenary (Druid) - Axes
Conqueror (Barbarian) - Mauls
Knight (Paladin) - Swords
Ninja (Assasin) - Blades, Daggers, Claws

Mage:

Town portal - Summon a portal that takes you to the nearest town.

Heal - Heal yourself or others.

Wave of Fire - Send a massive wave of fire at your enemies.

Movement mastery - Increase your running and attack speed.

Teleport - Teleport to mouse position.

Flame - Flame your enemies.



Demon:

Summon Minion - Summon a demon with the same damage and health as yourself.

Drain - Drain life from your enemies to yourself.

Soul barrier - Summon a barrier of souls that converts enemy attacks to health.

~ Quests ~

Act1:

Q1. Go to "The Cave Of The Undead" and kill the Amazon group before they attack the Rogue Camp.

Q2. Amazons have been spotted in the graveyard, using a book to summon the dead. Kill them!

Q3. Cain was kidnapped by the Amazons and we fear that he will be executed. You must stop them!

Sounds good, though there are a few things I'm not sure of. I believe the knight would have more strength than the archer, but less dexterity. Am I correct? Also, doesn't the Ninja beginning weapon seem a bit overpowered compared to the others? Otherwise, this mod sounds very good. :mrgreen:

In real-life you need to have strength to use a long bow. Anyone can wield a sword!

And the Ninja is for newbies. It will be easy to use it on Normal but not on Hard and Extreme.

You will notice that the starting stats won't make a difference once you get to higher levels. Afterall, the max level is 200... :D

Well, you're right about the long bow - but you'll also need lots of strength to use the larger swords (long sword and above).


Well, but let's get back to topic:
The concept sounds rather fresh and interesting. I especially like the mage. A real mage, this one, unlike the original D2 sorceress.

Hey PvP-Madness, is this the same mod that I "made" items for? The topic about "make your own items" and that you would put them in a mod.

Is this that mod? In that case, I'd love to play it even more ^_^
