Final Age Mod

Version: d2LoD 1.10

Mod Concept
To change diablo2 a lot. Do you not get bored with seeing the same monsters and items all the time? And the same drops all the time?
This mod changes that. In other word this mod is a total conversion!

Story
There isn’t really a story but since I like the whole orc’s, elves and humans so it will be based upon that, in other word Lord of the Rings theme (remember this is not all based on Lord of The Rings)

Features:

Monsters, NPC's and Hirelings
New monster animations from Infitium (All are token replacements)
Some NPC's have new animations (Akara now looks like a sorc)
Hirelings have new animations (rogue's look like amazons)
Runes and gems can bought (hefty price)

The NPC are going to have different animations etc Akara=Sorc Nithalak=necro Qual-Quek=barb Jamella=sorc. I am changing these because I’m getting bored of seeing the same faces every day!! Same with the Hirelings, they will be changed.

Skills
New skills for each class
New missile animations
Teleport can now be used in town
3 skill points each lvl (I implemented this because I thought that Diablo 2 didn’t offer enough. All those skill but only 1 skill point per lvl!)
No Skill Pre-resquites

Skills so far

Sorc Skills
Firestorm (druid skill)
Diablo’s Inferno (Inferno with diablo’s lightning attack)
Flame Wave (fire nova diablo’s nova amination)
Icicle Wave (baals cold attack animation)
Lightning Orb (lightning version of frozen orb)
Sorcery (increases maximum mana)

Necro Skills
Poison fall (poison blizzard)
Changed some animations of the summons
Still to finish

Druid
Changed wolf animation to leopard
still to finish

These are all that I have done so far, working on the rest

Items
New uniques (Since my theme for this mod is Orc, Elves, Men etc, Lord of the Rings in a way, the old ones will stay and I will make second unique for almost all the old uniques and name them things from Lord of The rings)
New uniques for all the items that didn't have one
Uniques for charms (very rare)
Uniques for Jewels (very rare)
Ladder uniques can now drop
New Sets (This will be based on famous Lord of The Ring characters like Gandalf, aaragon etc)
New itemtypes (new sorc blades, class ring and amulets)
Skill books and stat book (for collecting when u have completed the game and have nothing to do, can be bought but for a hefty price)
New runes
New runewords
New gems
Elements Stone's-these are very rare items collect 5 of these and cube them with a class token and you will get a godly item of you character class. This cube recipe only works at lvl 90
Drop's increased
Increased stash, cube and inventory

All the items will be based upon famous Elves, Dwarves, Men, Orc etc so that will be the theme for them (mainly from Lord of The Rings)

Maps
New maps from diabolic Cartography
New sort of cow level, great drops, but extremely difficult

I am going to be adding a new sort of cow level. I will be creating Lord of The Rings monsters and puting them in the New Cow Lvl. This place will be extremely hard but will have great drops.

Crafting
New cube recipes
New cube recipes to cube set items and uniques (save up those rarest for some goodies

Crafting isn’t going to be a big part in this mod but there will be some changes to make things a little more exciting. It will be mainly for using up items that you don’t want. There will be some items just used for crafting.

What I have done so far
Items=8%
(Have made the New Skill and Stat Books and have activated the Ladder uniques so they can drop normally)
Skills=20%
(Done most of the sorc skills and a little of the druids and necromancers)
Maps=0%
Crafting=0%
Monster, NPC’s and Hirelings=80%
(Have changed Akara to a sorc, changed Qual-Quek to a barbarian and I have changed the act 1 rogues to amazons and i have added about 15 monster animations from Infintium)

~Town Portal Tome and Idendify Tomes can now hold 50 scroll
~Alkor is now a necromancer hehe :)
~Stat and Skill Books are now activated
~Created new skill, Poison Storm for Necromancer. A poison version of blizzard
~Created new skill, Sorcery for Sorceress. Increases maximum mana
~Added some new unique jewels.These jewels are souls (men) and hearts(women) from famous characters from Lord of The Rings.So far i have done

~Witch King's Horror (helmet)

All of the above except the small charm are elite items.

Change horadric cube to something like Gimlis backpack where everything can be transmuted to food (this would be a cube recipe) :mrgreen:

I'm not editing my last post because i feel this is important.

I was thinking about changing the barbarian into a blacksmith. He would have a weaponcraft skill tree, armorcraft tree and jewelrycraft skill tree. He would be able to make or upgrade items that only he could do.

I was think along the lines of a Find potion skill but instead it would be a special item only he could find. Then you would put the armor or weapon or jewelry into the cube with this item and it would add dmg,def, or other things. What do u think?

Sorry for the lack of updates my computer has been playing up but it's fixed now (I think). I haven't had time to do alot of modding anyway. I have decided not to do the blacksmith thing. But i have added 2 SUPERUNIQUES-

If u have any ideas for SuperUniques please post them :D
