Back in October 10, 2009 had this same assertion failure, while doing the same thing. Rescueing Cain. Sorc lvl 11 patch---08
This is a different computer as the last one died and a complete new download of the mod. Had not played mod in a long time, new re-lear curve. Trying different versions of Sorc and Pal. Waiting on Amy in next version.

Thanks for the error report. I have my ideas what is causing it.
Next public patch wont have Amazon. But, it will have both Barbarian and Necromancer.
