Difficulties installing mod

I've been following the installation instructions on the Blackened mod website (hoping to be doing them correctly) but I'm running into a problem when when altering the blackened short cut properties (target and start in). After I change the properties I hit apply and I get an error reading- The folder "C:/Diablo II/blackened" specified in the Start In box is not valid. make sure that the folder exists and that the path is correct. (I dunno how to do a reverse slash, please ignore the fact that the slashes are in the opposite direction). The more I try to use these mods the more I realize how computer illiterate I really am . Thanks alot for any help.

The directory is the folder where blackened is, so open your blackened folder and copy the path out of the title bar, then paste it into the start in section. Also what version of blackened are you using?

I'm using the Beta 3 version.

Then the above method should work fine(beta 4 uses a launcher to remove the need for this), also just make sure you're using 1.10(the beta 4 launcher also checks this)

Where could I find the Beta 4 version? I don't see it displayed on the Blackened website download page.

Looks like the main files may have been removed from the IRC topic. I only see a patch there, while I hear a lot of talk about a ~60MB file for B4

Any thoughts are appreciated

Yeah, your correct, i dunno wtf Adhin did with the new base download[tried asking him a few times, and got no reply...].

feh i did reply you just either didn't notice or where to busy DC'ing every 5 seconds.

Since its supposed to be moved into a 'private' testing I only have the patch linked up, meaning if someone wants to test B4 they have to talk to me first. But I'll probably just link both again sooner or later since I haven't bothered asking for sign ups or whatever.
