Like GoGoDanny said, Nez will never TRUELY die. Im 100% positive there are still people playing SP Nez, that just chooses not to post here.
But I am one of the few people who love MP Nez. Playing by yourself just isnt the same.

The thing is: Nezeramontias can't truly die.
As long as at least 1 player is still playing it, then the mod is still active. The mod itself maybe not be a complete custom job like Reign of Shadow, Eastern Sun or Median XL, but like Zy-el it's a custom character mod that allows you to do things you couldn't do before.
As for playing with others, you are going to have to take Xfactor's advice on this matter and use the Hamachi client and play with others in order to avoid violating the ToS of this site (which doesn't allow the discussion or linking of third-party, private servers).
I myself have started a Double Swing Axe barb and currently doing A1 runs to grab all the dolls I need on Players8.
