OK so it looks like after all this time another bug cropped up. There is a typo in the text file (left over from vanilla i think) where something called "thakar's eye" is required as the 5th ingredient to the jah+jah = cham recipe (or whichever one we are talking about). The cham + cham = zod should...

I agree with Steven that it is often really hard to hit things. This is a general challenge in the mod, my viking has that problem, too. Every once in a while when I make a new mule, the mules lvl comes out to 255 after I exit a game and then I cannot enter a game again. I was wondering if you could rememdy this so that I can get to the stuff on them soon. could be an issue with the save bits not lining up, i'll make a note to check...

I just started playing this mod, and so far I am having fun. One thing I noticed is the NPC dialogs have old class names, and perhaps other legacy information. hmm that is a bummer, i was pretty sure gemwords worked in the new items, rune words should as well. only if they are generic though like "ANY ARMOR" and not "TORSO". the weapon ones should be good though.
