Re: Tricet of Apocalypse

Anyone who's played it: How far are you? Send a PM with your reaction, favorite skills, anything that might be overpowered, etc to me so I can see what everyone likes about it. Considering that I've seen lots of people that play this, yet haven't recieved a single PM about it, puzzles me. I assume ...

Thanks for that, Necro.
Hero1986: It's still in beta, but it's complete enough to be fun. Most people that have played it love it. Give it a try, and tell me what you think!

I was just thinking about that, actually. I'd like to get it out of beta first, though. Anyone who's played it: How far are you? Send a PM with your reaction, favorite skills, anything that might be overpowered, etc to me so I can see what everyone likes about it.

What other site would you recommend? Fileplanet doesn't work for me (or I don't know how to use it for uploading).

Just find the images of the character select screen characters and give them 1000+ offsets, placing them off the screen. Since click area is based on DC6 location, it'll be unselectable.

I think it might be a corrupted upload or download, since my stash (and everyone else's) works fine. I updated the link in my previous post in case it was a corrupt upload (it's the same version as before but I didn't accidentally include my character file in it this time ). If that doesn't work, tr...

Re: Tricet of Apocalypse

Is it repeatable? Where is the cursor when it crashes? It might be an error in inventory.txt.
Also, glad to see you're already up to Act 3.

When I'm out of ideas, I reverse-engineer names. Say you need a lightning spell. Get a random generator (I like http://seventhsanctum.com/generate.php?Genname=animepower for skills), set one of the parameters to lightning, and see what you get. Electric Charge? Sounds like some sort of aura, maybe s...

<shameless plug>Tricet of Apocalypse has 27 new skills for each character. Play now.</plug>
It's still in beta, but I could use a few more testers. It's mostly done, once I run through all acts with each character to make sure there's no bugs or huge imbalances (and add a story), it'll be out of beta.

When I first started playing, I was out of potions and down to 10 life... I opened a chest to see if there were any potions I could use, and it started on fire and I died.

It depends for me. If there's one or two new musics (and they fit), it adds a lot, especially if it's boss music. As for sound effects... add as many as you want! They're not big, and they can add a lot to gameplay.

An arrow that explodes into an X of lightning...
An arrow that does no damage to what it hits, but damages everything around it...
Multishot arrows that stun the target (with spell timer)...

I think that should help you a bit. Those are all skills that I was going to put in my mod, but didn't.

I believe he wants to have the skill have a long cast animation, not cast it and then have a delay. My method's the only one here (that I can tell) that does that.

There's a skill (concentrate I think) that applies a state while you're swinging your weapon. Change it to ranged, add srv/cltmissile, and give negative animation speed (other_animrate) via aurastats.
