I think the game is pretty good right now.Only one serious bug remains-fix the multiplayer under OS other than XP 32 bit.The solution is known, but onyx's coder is gone so no way to fix it :(

As far as the models aren't encrypted,it's easy to write a program which translates coordinates. There's no need to experiment when there are only 3 axis. For example, zmodeler can view TDU models and save them, but the game checks the files. That's what we should be afraid of-checks.But the game won't b...

I already made some models from Diablo 1.I modeled a few wapons and one class, the rouge using Exnem's eyecandy model from Oblivion.I dont think blizzard will allow us to mod models-D3 will use the same BAD engine WoW did.And there's no model viewer for WoW.I consider making a mod for Oblivion,it has...
I really enjoy how were treated like the red-headed step child of the blizzard modding community and get no support, while the WC and SC communities get all the love, support and cool toys to play with. I wonder why Blizzard isn't interested...
In the interview t...

Q. Would it be possible to filter games by any installed game mod if there will be an Open Battle.Net in D3? A. We've never supported and don't intend to support "mods" for Diablo II or III. As far as they are still using MPQ and the files inside arent encrypted, then it will be modable.Blizzard use...
No, it's not creating any of those files. It's unusual, the game won't start up period, no error messages or anything. I might just not have any luck whatsoever getting this mod to start, which is sad, it really looks like one of the more polished modifications I've s...

I support the petition,as I said before.Blizzard should really turn their attention to what the fans want, not what they think is correct. But there is almost no one left in Blizzard who made the previous Diablo series. And the new music composer is bad,I like Matt Ulemen more than the music in the gam...

The levels after the crypt are extreme with rouge. It's the same-get a monster or two to follow you and backpedal whle shooting arrows. It takes me at least 25 minutes to clean a whole level. The Island of the sunless sea is confusing-nothing tells you to go back and tale the other path. And when I beat...

Yes,I got offtopic. But I hope that this is not the final desing and the objects in the game will have much more triangles than the current stage. It wouldnt hurt adding new features like parallax mapping and HDR,both have been in any good game after 2005.
Yay,diablo 2 evolution,I haven't seen that.

Exept me,if this game comes out like this,I'll "buy" it from a bay.I dont care about bnet,I't will turn into a world full of bots and hacks. It would be better if it has ip adress game-playing with your friends and not worring about hackers or cheaters.

The Diablo 3's cartoonish style

The Diablo 3's style is cartoonish, obviously influenced from World Of Warcraft.Even humor is added.Diablo was ment to be a dark and creepy game, for the mature audition. If you want to prevent Blizzard from releasing a WoW clone, read and sign this petition. http://www.petitiononline.com/d3art/petition...

I have just beaten the mod.It wasn't very hard on normal, and with the rouge+bow with knockback act 2 was easy.I'll play the nightmare, hopefully it won't be so hard.

PS:Does anyone have the files of the YGBKM mod.The file center is down and onyx is the author and that's his forum.

I wonder what have you changed to the code to make tcp/ip not working. The .exe purpose should be to replace the .dlls and change the dir where patch_d2.mpq is found. And the wierd thing is that other mods/normal tcp/ip mode works.

The Torch Ants are the rouge's worst nightmare-they shoot fast fireballs which are almost impossible to dodge. But a merc from act 2 can kill them easily. The Liches were very easy-their fireballs dissapeared before you kill them.I had a bow with knockback so I just camped and dodged. The flawed(the ...
