Hi all, it's been awhile. Just wondering if this has been done before: A mod based more on items and skills associated with those items, as opposed to skill trees. I need about 5 different elemental skills (fire, lightning, poison, magic, cold) left for the archer/amazon/ranger class I have.
I'd like the skill ideas to be somewhat unique... Not just a chain lightning skill .

If I'd like to have my character take time before casting a spell, how would one go about doing this? I'd practically want them frozen... no moving or using healing potions or anything of the sort. The poison side of the javazon tree is not instantaneous, and IAS has little effect other than the physical damage the javelin does. Also look at the lightning skill tree for the javelin... Enchant to change missiles?
I'd like to cast a spell like enchant, however, what it does is change the next 5 regular arrows you shoot with your bow into lightning bolts.
Is this possible in any way? I can't think of any states that have altered missiles...

Okay, so I just copied and pasted the d2gfx.dll from the LotH folder in there, and it seems almost like regular D2. A weird skill tree, no tome or anything starting... It only looks like there is 16 of each. And why do you say 4 fire missiles behind them? There's 16 of that arrow, and 16 trails. It's not as overpowered though (unless enemies are in close range), because the missile itself doesn't damage, and the "burn" damage from the fires isn't exceedingly stron...

Finally got it. Had to do some changes... I changed the second nova base cltdo func to 20 and the srvdo func to 16 (the nova functions). It sends the fire missile in the almost exact direction as the ice arrow. Got it working now, thanks! Although, it lags the crap out of the game... Hahaha. =D (The...
