EDIT: D2SE was set to compatibility mode, now I get the error that "d2data.mpq" is corrupt. I didn't even touch the thing.

Well I hit a really big roadblock.

D2SE won't launch the mod. It crashes silently after hitting Play Mod or Play D2.

Maybe it's because on my recent install, the Vid_Test.exe no longer exists as video mode is configured with commandline parameters now.

Figured I'd give this another run. Are we moving on to the D2SE Module still? Did they ever get the skills and merc fixed yet?

Yes, that is the latest version of Eastern Sun for D2SE, and the most current right now.

Doh. I should've clarified that the "pulses" I was referring to were the damage auras (Holy Fire/Shock/Freeze, Protection From Evil).

I believe the 1.12a fixup doesn't allow for shields to be equipped with a 1H. The standard 1.10 does, however. This might be because the 1.12a fixup uses a different version of PlugY.

OK, Win10 will behave, game needs to be run as administrator at all times if you have Diablo 2 in the program files directory. Video Test and the launcher need Win7 compatibility to be checked.

I had to run video test in compatibility mode in order for it to work. I'm about to run eastern sun (Blessings! I still have the disc!) and will let you know if I have to use compatiblity to run that as well..

@luci I think you got your assassins mixed up. I was the one that made a pretty successful psychic assassin. yours was the elemental chargeups one that did play in one of my tourneys and managed perfect score. I want to get back into playing this but so far no mounting software compatible with win10...
