I'v checked everything carefully, twice, also compared my backup files with current ones, using WinMerge. Everything seems to be perfectly fine in MonStats, yet the problem still exists.

My investigation has led me to MonStats, but what could be wrong if chains are perfectly ok? Txt analyser can't find anything, me neither. Bizarre.

As for me it's a problem with skills, as devurandom already said. Make sure that all the skills your merc uses got proper "monanim" column in skills.txt. It requires code edit.

It's a monstats.txt broken chain problem. Simply, if you want to summon a monster of for example hcidx 730, simply use the hcidx of 729. Or 674 instead of 675 and so on.

Smite calc1 field real location (1.13c)

It seems calc1 field of Smite is hardcoded to use ln34 for some reason (it's impossible to add synergy or alter the calc in any way, no matter what you put in it, it always uses ln34 only).

I'm sure there is a way to change it somehow. Does anyone knows how to do it?

Check how magicarrow missile works. You can have a missile dealing 2 elemental attack thanks to that.

Your formula is correct indeed. Damage bonus of double swing in your case is param3 at skill level 1, +param4 for each next level and param8 value of every hard skill point of frenzy and bash.
