A small idea: give the user the ability to activate a sound in the .ini when gold is picked up.
For example :

AutoGoldPickupsound = 0 ; 1 to enable
Could be interesting for someone...

.BIN files are interdependent, you have to put them all each time.

You need a listfile to see properly what's in the MPQs.

Hello ! On mine I repack the modded .txt into Patch_D2.mpq , then replace Patch_D2.mpq in D2GS by the modded Patch_D2.mpq . Everything should be fine. My knowlege is very limited, I only know how to hex the DLL with hworks32 for now, not all this ASM stuff :oops:

Did you forgot to run the game without -direct when testing with the mpq ?
