I like it a lot, though I must notice that tilesets seems kind of dull and uninspiring. I know that converting for d2palette is not nice process, but as long as you avoid blue and green colors you can differentiate it more.

I like your work connected with armors and monsters the most.

Didn't have much time lately, so I have just prepared scythes I did already in .bmp format and d2 palette. For any adjustment will need to see them in game first

Even the Necromancer (despite DLC being cash grab) won't resurrect corpse which Diablo 3 is.

I don't know whether you have changed lighting or it is more about textures of diablo 3 models, but it looks imo quite good and it's fitting the game. Much better than Oblivion rips for sure :)

Thanks, will prepare them shortly. However I am afraid, that I won't be able to include the shadows, as .bmp don't have alpha channel.

Do you plan on using existing diablo 3 scythes? I could fix truncated bottom of the first as well if you decide so.

It was supposed to be new tiles for Ice Cave. I use term "supposed", because nasty palette conversion completely kills it in terms of colors. Perhaps I should make a new topic called "How would your mod look like, if you could do what you want". Yes, I am kind of frustrated with this stuff as an art...

Yes. Diablo 2 indeed aplies filters, so the best way to check actual look is to see it in game. This was just a quick try to make them fit better, so I will be doing some more tweaks for final appearance. It is very nice of you that you are giving the HD images as well, although frankly I think that you can have good results by working on d2 size sprites as well. Perhaps they should be sharpen a little as well (plus with contrast issues you mentioned), but overall they look great! Keep up good work.
