I was looking through Diablo's affixes and came across "of the Jester", which does 0-500% damage. From memory, the damage varied from hit to hit by that range, and I was wondering if there's a quick and/or easy way to do this. I haven't looked at runewords for a while, but, could it be the fact that the helm only requires 1 rune to make the word?
It may be conflicting with the rune's normal properties.
I'd add a second rune and see what happens.

How do i change a rune? not the look,just the name and what it does. Look in gems.txt, that has the gems and runes and what propertis they have, then look in misc.txt, that has the names of runes. So you've put other items in the misc folder and they've worked?

I haven't done a lot of item making yet, but just the few that I have done, I've put in the items folder, and just used the item name in the invfile column

I'm not entirely sure, but I would say that item_levelreqpct adds a percentage value to the item's level requirements. For example if you made the value 10, then it would increase the level requirement by 10%. So you might be able to make it -100 and decrease it by 100%, to 0. Also there's item_leve...

If you decide to use both PlugY and the vbs scripts, make sure that you change PlugY.ini: ActiveSavePathChange=0 (change 0 to 1)
SavePath=C:\Programfiles\Diablo II\ModName\Save (or where ever you have D2 and the mod). Otherwise, PlugY will still look in the main save directory.

If it was possible to do so, what would happen to the cube if you closed the cube while it was inside itself? I know that I tried this in the early days, and was a little bit miffed that you couldn't put it inside itself :roll:

Sduibek, the shift + click takes you to the last page that has an item in it. So if you only have the first page with items in, it doesn't appear to work, because that's the "last page". I'm pretty sure this is mentioned in the readme though.

I think that you could go to about 255-256, I've got a skills.txt that has 250, and I seem to remember that if you went above 255-256, it would go back to zero. This is just editing the text file by the way.

What is the actual access violation error that you're getting? And, when you say that you copied misc.txt to Global/Excel folder, do you mean data/global/excel? Check hireling.txt, the heading Exp/lvl (13th column). The lower the number, the faster they'll level, however, they won't level until you do. In other words, if you're both 10th, then (s)he won't level to 11th until you have, and if (s)he is above then (s)he will wait for you to get higher.
