How about some unique throwing potions. That could be utterly silly and fun to play around with. Imagine an exploding grenade doing 3000 damage.

I just downloaded the beginer toolkit and started reading the idiots guide to mod making but i cant seem to get the mpq viewer to work. Ive figured these out
Mercanary Zweiilhander(sp) is the barbs merc weapon.
Merc leather is the act 3 merc armor.
merc sabre is the act 3 merc weapon.
Im pretty sure every kind of merc item has a set equvilent. this excludes +1 and +2 items.

Its for the flail of ages, the rest is found in the folowing places.
The smith act 1
The summoner act 2
Ismail Vile hand(trancivil) act 3
and Izual act 4.

To make the flail of ages +5 you need the following parts
Cold worm act 2 nm
Stormtree(flayer jungle) act3 nm

Heres what ive got for trade

-necro pendenat
+2 blindness
10%chance to cast fireskulls when hit.
REQ lvl 4! (great for low lvl necros)

-15% ed jewel

-Assasins Dagger
has a cold and posion crystal in it

-Numb Skull from fools pride set

You could always make spheres out of other passive skills(lycanthropy or demon mastery spheres?). Or spheres for skills that only apear on items, posion dagger necros are out of the question right now, the ar bonus from pd is the only way they hit monsters.

Ive got some ideas. Rename some of the skills and give them new graphics. Bone armor would be cool if you replaced it with a globe of imunity or protection from missiles graphic. There are no storm casters in bg turn them into vampire mages or something. Sucubi should be skeletons and renaimed anima...

I crash every time i kill unique or champion beetles. There doesnt seem to be a crash log anywhere. And my cpu expiernces lots of slow down after the crash, ussualy making me restart.

Problems with starting V 1.01

Hey I cant seem to get the new patch to work when i start the exe it starts up normaly and copys the files and then

Replacing 'C:\Program Files\Diablo 2\Game.exe'
ERROR: failed to replace file!

and then restores all of the files. Is their anything im not doing right?

I cant get the 1.01 version to work, in the msdos prompt it always says error replacing files. Any idea whats wrong?
