Yeah, to me, potions are there to keep me from dying when I get overwhelmed by enemies. I don't have much other use for them.

Ah, so there IS a feature to replace cubing for getting custom gear. 14 grades of Gem? SWEET! Also Jewelers can remove gems from sockets. the Mystics can synthesize runes for you. I can't wait to find out how that works. Blacksmith, so far it's a bit tame but I'm sure he'll be useful all the same. Y...

If you're taking out magi you could add a random elemental melee damage to regular skels.

@evilsnack: Space Empires 5 was done like that. It was specifically designed to be moddable from the ground up. The result? Good, but playing the stock game is not much fun compared to playing mods.

Well if you're questing as a Necro and run across a monster that's resistant to physical and poison... You have two options Bonespear(it's magic right? I haven't played for a while.) or finding a buddy who uses elemental skills. YEah you have Magi, but they're wusses.

Mmm... Actually customizable maps would be fun for a multiplayer PvM contest. IE see who can kill the most monsters fastest.

One problem I've noted is that monsters and players have stats that are very different. Example: Players CAN'T have immunities, but monsters can and frequently do. +Physical is much less useful in Hell since everything is resistant to physical damage. But physical damage is much more useful against ...

Okay it'd probably have less features available for tweaking, It'd be nice to be able to use a GUI to position things though. So what do the new items do? Except for Token they look like things dropped by act bosses. And my best guess is that the cube recipe is used to create the token by transmutin...
