Re: About Cain's position in Act 5 (Harrogath)
please start completely fresh: remove diablo/d2se/your mod files - everything (backup saves and modded files before) reinstall diablo with the 1.12 digital installer (see my signature) install d2se download http://d2se.org/d2se/modplugins/D2SE_MyMod_1.0.0_sfx.exe and extract it to "Diablo II\MODS" (...

Re: About Cain's position in Act 5 (Harrogath)
extract the townWest.ds1 file to Diablo II\data\global\tiles\expansion\town\ and launch your game with the parameter "-direct" (e.g. "C:\Games\Diablo II\game.exe" -direct) or use a mpq editor (like WinMPQ) and store the file at the same path inside the mpq (this way you dont need the launch paramete...

Re: BTH 1.02 and WIn 10
sorry to disappoint but for BTH there is just tcp/ip multiplayer (best with hamachi or similar) and no bnet (or private realm). there are some other mods you can play on several private realms. best join our discord to find out which. for your installer problem. there are two way to go around instal...

Re: BTH 1.02 and WIn 10
For the installation with D2SE there are 2 working plugins available: D2SE_BackToHellfire_1.02_with_Win7_Fix D2SE_BackToHellfire_1.02_with_Win7_Fix_and_Xpack_1.00 The first is the official BTH 1.02 Release with PlugY and the fix for the windows 7+ sound problem (and maybe the multiplayer bugs. I'm n...

Re: Plugy: Move items from personal to shared stash
if you are using PlugY v10.01 or newer you can use the chat command "/toggle x" where x is the page number you want to swap between personal and shared stash or vice versa. I think if you omit the page number the current one will be used. There also is the command "swap x" to swap the page you are c...

TCP/IP - 2 Players - act 1: Player 1 opens the gambling screen (doesnt matter if the reload button is clicked or any other action is done, it happens anyway) Player 2 opens the gambling screen -> the first click to reload the gambling screen does not work for both players. the screen flickers, but n...

Re: BaseMod Plugin
Next version will take out some of the simple code edits. I've been asked to make a custom version to remove all that, but I don't want to maintain 2 versions of basemod, because its already time consuming to synchronize code between my mod and basemod. May I ask why you are removing features that ...

Shift Click Items extended to Stash, Cube, and Ground Drop. I love you  Works like a charm. I did some tests wir Socketed Items, Books and Scrolls (had no charms at hand) Would it be possible to make the shift key configurable? I would like to use ctrl instead so the behavior is the same l...

Re: BaseMod Plugin
I found another small thing:
If you want to use BaseMod with the Diablo II\basemod.ini only (so there is no data/global/excel/basemod.txt present) but start the game with -direct -txt it will crash with the error posted by jessedazebra.

Re: BaseMod Plugin
Not sure if I understand correctly. The first page of plugy's personal stash IS the vanilla stash. You don't loose items in the vanilla if you enable or disable plugy. For transferring items into the inventory there is no special mechanism. It's like vanilla. Click item in stash to pick it up, move ...

Re: BaseMod Plugin
Plugy replaces the regular stash completely. It gives you 2 separate sets of pages which can be a toggled with a button. One set for each character and one shared for all chars. Technically the shared stash is a new file and completely distinct from the vanilla stash. The new personal stash is a new...

Re: BaseMod Plugin
A long time ago there was a mh that had this feature. It was really great quality of life boost. Even without plugy I think it would be great. Move to cube/stash if opened and back with only one click. 8-O a dream come true.and for your concern. Just say no. I for myself would not want it because I ...

Re: BaseMod Plugin
Hey devurandom if it possible for you to actually choose between the ini and the txt file in the installation folder I would definitely go for the ini file. Modders will have no problem opening the txt with afj's sheet editor or siminlar but the random user will just open it with the windows editor ...

Re: BaseMod Plugin
@devurandom: I think you should add the possibility to use the ini file as well. perhaps the logic should be:
check for bin
check for ini
use default settings
this way players who just use your basemod plugin for vanilla gameplay (like I do) don't have the hassle of starting with -direct -txt etc.

I don't know about this plugin in particular but instead you could use devurandom's basemod plugin: https://d2mods.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=65492
It has a goldpickup included and some other cool stuff

Re: D2SE Modmanager, the final solution for Modmanagement
I just realized that I never officially released "my" D2SE plugins for Back to Hellfire but just posted them here an there in the PK. Here they are: D2SE_BackToHellfire_1.02_with_Win7_Fix D2SE_BackToHellfire_1.02_with_Win7_Fix_and_Xpack_1.00 No actual work was done by me. I just combined the work of...

Re: Updating plugy with D2SE (generic bad file)
you have to replace the plugy.exe + dll in your "Diablo II\PlugY" directory with the latest ones not just the regular content from plugy.zip/PlugY folder. For D2SE everything belonging to PlugY is stored flatly in "Diablo II\PlugY" also if there is a Plugy.dll in your mod directory (assuming you're ...

Re: trying to find pre LOD diablo II
every version you go online with will be patched to 1.14d It's not that my (or any other) versionchanger doesn't support the new installers but that the new installers doesn't support being downgraded to versions pre 1.14. This is due to a structural change in the big data mpqs which must be fixed b...

Re: trying to find pre LOD diablo II
alternatively you can use my versionchanger which includes classic 1.00 - 1.14d and LoD 1.07 -1.14d: https://versionchanger.chaosmarc.de/ there is no problem with using it in parallel with D2SE, as D2SE doesn't care for the installed diablo version. If you want to use pre-1.12a without a cd you can ...
