Its really not a bad idea, allows certain runewords that people like that can be useable in many forms depending on their level

Runewords have similar issues in ZyEl. There are Gemmed/Jeweled and Non-Gemmed/Jeweled versions of certain words. Also there are varying 'strengths' to certain runewords which benefit different characters at different intervals

If I remember right the reason is there were different grades for armors. TBH the draw for ZyEl isnt the uniques. Your better served overloading jewels to socket.

And unless you are unofficially patching ZyEl, uniques as they are will linger

It doesnt pick up until you get stuff to do recipes with like megaloads and stuff, until then starting from scratch can be a long trek but all of us that were here or still here have gone through that, I wouldnt really expect many new faces to start playing, D2 on its own is almost 20 yrs old

Yeah sorry been absent as of late, with having to trek kids back and forth to school and working 3rds, I dont get much time to update, do have a pc now and have successfully backed up the wikispace of ZyEl. I will work on trying to bring more pages through as fast as I can.

Mods can do some changes without breaking the rules, this could be considered automation software and that is a big no with Bnet

ZyEl will not run above 1.09d, i believe there are just too many changes to the game between 1.09d and 1.12
Kato is the only person with the base files and he is currently not working on ZyEl anymore
If he so chose he could pass the torch but that is his call not ours
