All monster animations have 8 directions, and most of them have death, attack, walk, neutral (etc...) animations. I will give more details and release a pack of monster animations soon.They were a pain to find though, since Eimernase didn't want to tell where he got them from. Haha, its not a pain ...

look in monstats for "unraveler" (the greater mummy from act2 tombs), his AI can do that.

Trevor is right. The only thing you can do is, take those items out or make it very harder to get. Otherwise they will kick your balancing faster in the hell as you wish. It doesnt matter, which intention the modder has to implemented them. Players are always searching for an easier way to growth up...

The idea is good, but i see some problems to balance them all. What i mean, it gives player a possible chance to make his char overpowerd when those states comes randomly from the dusts (states fromarmor/weap/shield gem inserts). So they will make only jewels with perfectly and maybe imba states the...

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but try graphing this: = ( (((x+8)*1.3) ) + ((x*x*x)/125)) / 100 This gives results pretty close to what you were talking about. 1.3 is the modifier for linear scaling and 125 is the divisor for the exponential part. changing those two values shift the c...

When you look at the left main menu..you will see a link to the Knowledge base.
Here you can find many tutorials and also fileguides. There are easy to read and understand.

Thats the first thing you should read and the basic for understanding things like you want to change. ;)

Just simple...an oskill cant be an non-class skill.
oskill is a feature where you can use skills from other classes, so all oskills in the game are always class-skills.

Is the column "SplGetModeChart" in monstats.txt setting same as original (diablo and baal have a 1 in it)?
If so, delete this "1" at the entrys for your units with this token and try again.

Which itemtypes they are?

As example, bows cant be drop as ethereal, they didnt have any durability.
The second point is, if you give also indestruct as state, make sure that ethereal is setting before and not after this.
