Re: Beta 1.45 bugs/comments/info & dl link
Still from 1.43: I think Breath of Surtur is bugged. It should do about 1k damage on lvl 14, but in general I still kill quicker with a ~250 dmg Artic Howl. I tested that on different monsters to sort out resistance to fire. Someone on the realm said that in D2 Inferno was bugged and only does 28% d...

Re: Beta 1.45 Readme
Meanwhile, the realm is nicely growing, like 150+ player. You may only want to reset the high characters to save you some work. Hmm, but since there aren't so many people in the forums here, it might not matter so much. I still wait for my char to reset, maybe it works like it is, need to try this o...

Re: Skills: Summoner
The poison vine's damage is scary. With about 25 points in synergy skill á 15% more damage and at a skill level about 12 it makes more then 10 k damage over 4 seconds. It's not the kind of uber what the heroine was, though. I can't kill at will, still need to wait for the vine to pop up. But please ...

Re: online question
Even on lvl 87 I need quite some runs to get exp. I would welcome a soon hp change, too. Also, in addition to the monster hp change, the ready classes could be in the release, too. For people could start these chars then without having fear that they will be changed much in the soon future. Of cours...

It's worse here: heroines are meat shield theirselves, too...Kind of made me feel like vanilla d2 with casters making tanks useless except as meat shield.

Re: Beta 1.43 bugs/comments
So it's working all fine now :)) Yesterday we killed Baal and I had a blast of time. Playing the mod is great fun! I look forward to the double hp you announced for monsters, it makes more sense then. I heard few people complaining about the mod being too hard and in some areas I agree. This is espe...

Re: Skills: Heroine
Agreed about Flamestrike. I'm aware that you, mouse, already know that it's overpowered. But it's not (only) the damage, it's really that physical damage get's applied, too. So Flamestrike kills like everything around. If the physcial damage would be converted into fire damage, it made more sense, r...

Re: Skills: Heroine
Having lvled my heroine up to lvl 54 at the realms, i got some more 'insights' to share ;) 1) Endurance wasn't soo bad as I thought since I could help allies with low stamina and the healing tick was quicker than expected. It didn't do much for me but there is potential, I think. Giving +% stamina i...

Re: Skills: Heroine
while shockwave is a nice skill, there are two aspects speaking against it: 1) the hero has it already 2) having same skills as in D2 is kind of boring I thought more of a melee skill, like zeal + stun Ideally, something like leap but with stun instead of knockback. For a jump skill would be greatly...

Re: Skills: Heroine
Removing battle orders is quite harsh, I think but I haven't advanced in the game too far so I can't really say. But Infected Claws, in my opinion, isn't really worth it as a new skill. See, one issue for the heroine is that she is limited in terms of damage elements. She got several fire melee skil...

While many of the uniques I found was class-specific ones, I really appreciated that. It greatly enhances trading in multiplayer.
Which is a blast, by the way, I had great fun today playing with some people.

Re: Create a Uniq [moved from forge forums]
I really like EftA, playing a Viking myself. The final lightning skill (Thor's strike? former Amazon's Lightning strike) could be somewhat strongr in my opinion. Anyway, some unique ideas myself: Brain Breath: (Death Mask) + 5 to Possession Loa + 1 to Chaos Hex + 10% magic resist + 2 mana / level + ...

Re: Pets & their skills
First of all, I'd love to stick to the pet mercenaries, really. I didn't comment that much on SE in the last time but I pay close attention to the development and I love every single step. But now I have to say that some kind of pets are still great (hey, it was me who came up with pets on CW ^^). T...

Re: Char suggestions
I really like some of ChaoticDeath's ideas. The (Al-)Chemist is a nice class, brewing potions for himself (skill tab 1, e.g. temporary attribute potions, potions that give %max life / mana, quickness potions) or against enemies (skilltab 2, e.g. blind foes, acid rain, molotov, slow movement. Also, e...

Re: Char suggestions
K, I thought so. I tried to base my suggestions above on ingame graphics but sometimes it's not easy. Necromancers as Anatomists are fine in my opinion but it's harder for e.g. amazons. According to the look, assa and necro should be on the bad side, amazon and probably druid on the good. Don't know...

What about my suggestions? *bump* No vampire in there...
BTW, are you using the LoD character graphics or new avatars like you did in CW? That would be good to know for creating types of characters.

Re: Char suggestions
Eek, Friday 13th! Good time for doing some gothic stuff ;) Well, I took a look into AD & D to find some character concepts or maybe just names for them. Maybe you get some inspiration from that? Necromancer: - Ghul Lord: Heavily focusing on Undead mastering & summoning - Anatomist: Mainly corpse-bas...

Re: Shadow Empires : Entering a New Realm
That strange phenomenon that the mods you want most get canceled probably has it's reasons in the insane amounts of work / time those mods need, especially total conversions like CW. I really regret that CW died, I, too, was waiting for it a long time. But I know that you both are really skilled and...

I'm looking into the forums roughly every second day, too, and miss some good news from CWs.
I don't want to build up pressure by that, Joel, you know. Instead I want to confirm again that we did not forget about the mod, just because we are silent

Re: [1.10s] Nezeramontias 1.06 beta up
If you really want a char with higher level from the start, you can still use the -act5 parameter for the command line. It not only works for D2x but also for the mods I played with until now. Keep in mind that this is a way of cheating, too, so it can wreck your fun to play! You won't have any wayp...
