Right now if you are poisoned, your hp will fall to 1 and then stop. Is it easy to change this so that if you are in fact poisoned, your hp will not stop at 1 but rather 0 (and consequently die)? Increasing Trap Rate on Chests and Items

I was wondering if its possible to increase the chance that a chest or other similar object will be trapped. Is this hard coded? If not, where do I go to look? Thank you.
