Book of Wisdom recipe not working for me.

I put all 7 dolls (Andariel, Duriel, Mephisto, Diablo, Baal, Blood Raven, and Cold Worm) into the cube but nothing happens when I click on transmute. Is there some additional ingredient needed? If so, could someone please at least give me a hint as to what it might me. Do I need to be past a certain level (I am currently level 72, in NM), or in a certain area/town? Any help will be very appreciated, thank you.

is it version 7.51?
if so, you need all 7 dolls from the characters instead, so ama assa, sorc,....

Eh? There are character dolls? I have not seen a single one yet! Do they drop from special areas/monsters or do I just have to get lucky getting them from the eggs? I have acquired almost the whole set of npc character dolls, but have never seen a player character type doll yet. Ah well, just have to keep killing I guess.
btw, yes, I am playing 7.51 version.

did you maked the hellforge quest...

Just last night I did the Hellforge quest in Nightmare and I got an Iron Golem doll from the forge itself when I smashed the soulstone. If that is the only place you get those types of dolls, well, all I can say is that it looks like I will not be getting a Book of Wisdom for quite some time.
Not that huge a deal, I mean, there is always the -act5 switch if I want an immediate 'uber' character.
