Hello,
I just finished a patch that replaces and improves item and monster graphics with the new ones from Ogodei's packs which have better colours and fit D2's environment better. I also replaced menu uis that the author didn't do yet like skilltree, vendor, quest, etc. same go with the plugy ones too.
For item graphics and animation tokens that Ogodei hasn't finished yet, I made them myself. They will get replaced once he releases a new version. I also reduced the frame count for each animations to have the same number as the BTH ones.

I did this purely for replay value since this mod is quite old so I might as well share it here.

I take no credit here. All credits should go to the author (Onyx) and Ogodei for releasing his packs.

Edit: Just wanted to say that it works fine.

There are some old post about OS "compatibility" and sound "issue".

Well, I don't know about that, but mod works fine on windows 10, and sound works fine too, even though it was set off by default.

Running the game through D2SE of course.
