Runic disc recipes are secret and random.
You have to work out which recipes work, I gave the cube recipe away as a freebie. Disc + pyramid doesn't work, so you have to try other combinations!
Act 1: Mostly the tower
Act 2: Secret Tunnels (If you've played TFW...) and the Hidden Tunnels
Act 3: Peek around Travincal and Kurast
Act 4: None
Act 5: I don't remember, there are many!

Nihlathak (sp?) is level 65 in Normal should really have a green name...
At level 30 try going to the Kurast Causeway (bit between Travincal and Kurast), and looking for the 2 dungeons there. Also, you could try the command /players X (replace the X with a number), this makes the monsters stronger but they give more exp!

Ahh... tempered items are made by putting a magic/normal item in the cube with a townportal and an identify scroll.
You then can add the monster parts to make a strong weapon that grows with your character. They aren't too useful for a Sorc though
players x doesn't increase the monsters damage, just their life. Nice to see the Sorc is somewhat how I planned, you should survive one or two hits though. I suspect you're alittle low level for your area!

That might be the reason why she is fragile... do you use PluginY? I wouldn't mind knowing if she would survive better with some vit... you can just reset your stats quite easily with it
My Sorcs are usually built like this on battle.net:
Str: 40/60 (depends on +str gear)
Dex: Enough for max block (150 ish)
Vit: Rest
Enr: 0
But Enr is more important in TSC with the +% elemental damage with energy stat
