Unzip all of the PlugY files into your main D2 folder, then run the installation exe to patch your D2Gfx.DLL. It should work after that...

You'll have to go to the PlugY board for that, though maybe godshead can help you as he has it running, please use PM for that though.

Well not much to report, my health has been horrendous, stupid inner ear infection, can't stand up without getting dizzy.

But since i'm stuck in bed have lots of time planning stuff out.
Well for balance and playability I have to redo one sorc skill, thunderstrike is out (doesnt work as planned) and I am giving the assassin trap shock field to sorcs as a low level ltng skill.

Second class will be Druids:
Heres the current skills i'm gonna be trying to add to elemental tab:
Fire spells:
Inferno (new skill)
Fissure
Volcano
Armageddon
Cold spells:
Twister
Avalanche (new)
Hurricane
Acid Rain (cold+poison)(new)
Other spells:
Cyclone
Weather Mastery (+fire +cold dmg)(new)

Other tabs pretty much same, except for rebalances.
Oh yeah, spirit of barb->spirit of nature (grants -DR% and IAS)

That sucks that you still have that ear infection. I think I'm getting one too, but anyway...

So far the skill changes look good... Although I am worried about one thing, act bosses. Seems to me they are a little overpowered as far as their new skills go. I had to stop playing my HC Sorc in fear of insta-death :(. So far the only boss I've actually had a problem with was Mephisto and possibly Duriel.

No worries, I'm changing skills for act bosses before next release,
Mephisto will be downgraded to using poison nova (which is lv18 spellnow)
and I'll look at duriel, what is he using that is so deadly?

Though I do wish act bosses to be HARD, but not one hit kills, so i'll balance that out. And the way poison orb worked was bugged,
I thought it would eb about 80 damage over 2 seconds, but what it does is do 80 damage and then another 80 damage each second. So I lowered the damage on it in about half.

Keep any bug reports coming.

For next release I need to finish the following:
Skill changes for all class
Fix automods so correct skills appear on correct items
Update monster resistances.
Add atleast one more set of runewords
Balance out monsters for nightmare
then release next patch.

Duriel was hitting me with frozen orb.

As for the automods, did you ever happen to fix the problem I had with circlets and crashing?

ok ill use pm next time for anything not dealing with the mod. Hope the ear infection goes away. Everything is sounding good but bosses seem harder. Also I can't get the recipe to upgrade to work right. Well im off to work :-|.

I still am unable to track that bug down, as far as I see they look correct,
if you find anymore cna you test if this happens only on sorcs, or all clases? It crashes the second you wear it? or the second you pick it up?
Its not automods that are doing that, I checked and they are all set-up correctly, I must have somewhere along the lines done something to them.

One more thing, play hardcore beta at your own risk hehehehe.

If I get enough free time, maybe i'll jump ahead and re-fix automods and resistances, and release a beta patch for the new sorc skills,
they are so fun. Its nice having no useless spells.

Well if anyone is interested in a sneak peek at the new sorc skills,
let me know, and i'll see what I can do. It looks like its gonna take a bout a week for each class to finish, I take that back, should be shorter sorc had alot of new skills that took some heavy modding, the rest shouldn't be to hard except maybe druid elemental skills and new assasin traps.

EDIT: Sorry about the recipes, that settles it I'll get to a stopping point as soon as possible and release next patch to atleast fix them.

Edit2: Well i'm stuck on bed rest for a few days :(
but for some good news with the help of someone who emailed me, thegodofatheism, I think I was able to track down the circlet bug, it was trying to force a color change in game and circlet just displays no armor when worn, so I stopped the color transform and i'm hoping this fixes the bug ;)

Quick skills update:
All Sorc and Druid skills finished and working 100%, now I move on to...hmm..Necro I think.
Druid definately is alot better I think, as you can cast spells in all morphed forms, and their elemental spells are significantly better, I think i'm gonna test play one now. Sorcs have lots of new eye candy ;) Of course everything is borrowed form other places in the mod, so don't expect new new graphics, but definately different graphics. I'm happy with what I could do without resorting to importing new graphics, I hope you will be too.

I looked at the new skill graphics.....they look awesome 8-O. Keep up the good work and keep all of us informed of more changes.

Well, I'm finally back. My internet decided to stop working and I found out (through tinerking) that I had a corrupt file someplace... Anyway, I reformatted and everything. HOWEVER... I will no longer be able to test for your mod, which disappoints me to no end. But that doesn't mean I won't be around ;). I'll always be here to check in and lend a hand, and you can always e-mail me otto.
