Sorry to disappoint everyone but we're not posting spoiler recipes just yet That said feel free to post any recipe discoveries here you find and I'm sure in time, there may be a few obvious hints dropped

Just curious if anyone out there has actually tried testing out any random combinations and discovered ANY of the recipes we've mentioned throughout the patches...

General hints huh?

Ummm...

Alchemical (Potion) recipes use "tri-cubing" combinations of the new potions to switch between potions and even a few new ones but you'll have to work out the ratios and potions. I think there's like 15 or 16 of these combos.

Crafted Item recipes aren't too far from the original ones really (30 something new recipes).
Specific Magic Item + 2 Jewels + Potion + Different Potion

Yeah!! Fooled around with potions and found 4 combinations-Got a Radiaton,Shocking Grasp, Insulation, and Heroism. Didn't realy need them as had plenty of each, except Heroism. Haven't figure a magic item to go with the jewels and potions. Will be glad when I do, in order to get rid of some jewels. Haven't really looked into cube recipies other than the usual healing mana. Don't need any more of those.

1 Cat's Grace+2 Radiation=1 Shocking Grasp
1 Antidote+2 Shocking Grasp= 1 Potion of Insulation

Thanks None of them are big spoilers or anything but it's a nice start for people down on their luck finding that certain tonic

Thanks to the keen eyes of Haujobb the recipe typo has been fixed and working correctly now for v0.84. To mix things up a little the recipes for crafting have been replaced with tempering ones instead and use this basic logic:

Magic Item + Potion 1 + Potion 2 + Rune + 2 Jewels = Tempered Item

Note the v0.84b part, they're still disabled in v0.83

What I need is some tempering reciepies here, so if anyone could at least narrow down the range of runes I need to temper a helm, or a heavy belt, I would be very much happy, because, I've narrowed it down to none of the first 4 in any of the groups. So, could someone hepl me a little here, I'm going crazy, I'm missing out on these tempered items because the reciepes in the game aren't too helpful with "Sorry I forgot which rune, but if you scum the hellforge in Act 4 Hell Hell 10000 times, you might find it." Okay, that was bad sarcasm I know, but if anyone could help me, I would appriecate it so much, besides, isn't that what this topic is about?

Okay, I can give two here because I haven't really got into it yet. Just starting a Frenzy Barb which will do the low level ones I have found in the books of lore. (Sorry they aren't really low level)

Tower Shield uses the Resolve Rune + 2 jewels + Radiant and Shocking Grasp potions.

Bone Belt uses the Wintercloak Rune + 2 jewels + Agility and Insulation potions.

And as another generalized clue, as of right now, all tempered recipes use one of the first 8 (levelreq 10 to 31) of each tablet so don't waste your time with runes of servitude, longevity and the like

PHrozen heart double posting! GASP! Heh, anyway, thanks for the information, it shouldn't take me too long to find that dang wintercloak rune. As for the resolve one, I'm happy because I have 3 of them.

Well 3 "runes of the earth" make one wintercloak if you have them

Ummm...if you say so. Resolve is the 3rd angelic rune while fortitude is the 6th draconic...

The closest we have to a published list is the update thread which mentions a lot of the tri-cubing recipes (ie. transmuting three of the same item to either respawn a potentially better version or change it into a related, yet different, item) and for crafting recipes the idea is to check out as many Books of Lore as possible.

thanks - just got to dark wood (as it is normally called) and found the first book - assumed they would be books like tome of ID etc - so didnt think id see them till jail where the bookcases sometimes are

Angelic (grey coloured) Tablet, required level 13. (second lowest)

Oh, it's best practice to edit your posts instead of posting one after the other. Saves alot of space and looks neater.
