PlugY with Hell Unleashed (v 1.10)

This is exhausting. My problem is that when I try and load up D2 by using the PlugY.exe, nothing happens. Uninstalled/reinstalled it about 10 times, tried both zip and exe installion methods. My problem it seems to trying to get it to work with the 1.10 version, as I just now tested it on a 1.13 version and the exe installer worked perfectly. Is there a trick to getting it to work on the 1.10 version? I'm using this version because of Hell Unleashed.

Since I know you must not start D2 from Plugy.exe
Try to run the Install.bat with all the files in your d2 folder, this should modify your d2gfx.dll to load plugy.
Than start diablo 2 and see if it works.

Thanks for the reply. I've ran PatchD2gfxDll.exe to patch the file, and it says it patched it. But I am still unable to load D2. I want to solve this just for the principle of the thing now, but with no errors, it makes it difficult.

Any other suggestions?

Do you have more than one version of D2 running?

if so you will have to edit the registry of the install path so that plugy can find the 1.10 version.
