PlugY, The Survival Kit 11.0 : with support of Patch 1.13d.

Post by LAutour » Fri Apr 15, 2016 6:05 pm

v11.00 changes :
- PlugY works for 1.13d version of LoD too.
- A complete support of all languages in game (the localized lines it is possible to govern in the PlygYLocal.ini file).

Installer:
PlugY_The_Survival_Kit_v11.00.exe
Source code:
PlugY_The_Survival_Kit_v11.00_source_code.zip

wow cool :)
as far as i can see all features work :)
though the installer is kinda broken/strange...
could you supply a zip version?
did you think about a github repo? If you dont want to create one yourself I would be more than happy to do it for you

The installer it seems normally works. But here the link to Plugy in archive: https://yadi.sk/d/xazgV1_qr37zQ
On GitHub - I didn't work with it earlier. For the present I didn't deal with it.

Awesome work. I'd like to ask a question, though : Why split localization code to PlugYLocal.dll (in Delphi, too)?
D2TXT / D2INI - Python scripts for editing TXT files, or converting between TXT ↔ INI files

Because on C ++ to work with strings, in comparison with Delphi - extremely it isn't convenient. Аnd so was quicker.

P.S.
By the way, write on correction of the translation of the text to PlugyLocal.ini.

Is it possible to add PlugYLocal.ini and PlugYLocal.dll into patch_d2.mpq?

LAutour's source code can now be found on github: https://github.com/ChaosMarc/PlugY
Feel free to contribute. There were some language fix pull requests already :-)

Hey guys,

I am a D2 fan and a coder. I am a jack of all and a master of none when comes to programming. If someone with working knowledge wanted to give a 5-10min youtube on testing PlugY code in D2 and pull back the error messages in some fashion I would be interested in putting some work toward this mod. I haven't needed to work on assembly and C++ since college but it would be a fun project to kill sometime.

Thanks

Good idea Sindor, have you made any progress with this project?
My guess is you will love Viasil because it's effective.
