D2Dreamland.log should be in the mod folder after you have run a game at least once. If it's not there, then yes it's because of windows XP.

To everyone :
You can help fixing this issue by telling us as many things as possible when a crash happen, like : where you were, monsters on the screen, character played, weapons wielded, or anything else. Basically the more informations we have, the easier it will be to fix the bug. (It may be one or more bugs having the same effect).
Edit : Kingpin, I've been able to click on basket without crashing, but they were all empty. Maybe the crash happen only if the game try to drop something from thems.
Edit 2 : Ok just got the crash when clicking on a basket. So yes I'm almost 100% sure it's only when an item should drop.
You can help fixing this issue by telling us as many things as possible when a crash happen, like : where you were, monsters on the screen, character played, weapons wielded, or anything else. I get the No disk error now with 5.00 which didnt happen in 4.01.

firstly I ensure the original Lod 1.12 and 1.13D works fine
for this mod 5.00, I try launch it via D2SE base in Lod 1.12 and 1.13D,
always get error enter the Act 1 base after create hero

I just added the 5.0 to my D2SE. Started act 1 everything was fine till I started opening up baskets and got the Exception error c0000005 it was a item in the basket. Same thing I guess Kingpin found. The 2nd crash happen when I killed a shaman outside the temple where you get the Cube forget the temple name. The shaman drop a item that flashed as D2SE crashed. I did a print screen but it failed to show the error. The message did say it was D2SE failed. I tried to attached some files D2Dreamland but it showed no errors on it, but no luck sorry.

I´m pretty sure my game always crashed while hitting or killing mobs. I cleaned the first three maps without any problem but as soon as I enter the next map for Q2 my game will crash sooner or later.

I started play first area myself yesterday to see how far I could play. The only error I got myself so far is error I reported with basket.
Hit mobs and kill mobs sounds more mod related (my guess item related) that cause the crash. What would help if you could list the monster's name that cause crash each time would help both me and Xaphan figure out why it crash.
EDIT:
Logs been helpful for those who have XP Issues, know where it crash now, just need figure out why it does now.

Hmm 2M is the token for the 'act2male' NPC that you see walking in the streets of Luth Golein (in vanilla). This token is not used at all for any purpose in my mod so something seems to tell the game to look to an animation it should not.

Mnw1995: That code is helpful, I think I possible know where the kill monster error come from. I was working on death related code as test before, that's I'm not using (more the blizzards own code). So possible I have an arg wrong somewhere. I will disable it, and pm you a file you can test and see if it solves it.

Recreated this one.. There is a npc called Isan in Viz-Jun who uses this animation I guess
But this is not the reason for the crash just a warning

Hmm just tested and you'r right. This NPC should have been removed, so I probably missed it.
Anyway it's not the cause of the crashs, but I will remove it in an update

Bug about merc names.
Found when testing my translation file. They have names on hiring panel but lost names after hired. It was replaced with "an evil force" on string.tbl line 5354 string "Dummy". (evil force For this merc. But I've got other strange names on other mercs that name don't matches on hiring panel.)
Only occurs in my translation and I'm sure my line matches. It's fine in English.

Your error with crash (like alot others have) will be fixed as soon as possible. I Know why it happens, it's because I recoded all Unit Names and that it fails at some point in code. Just, working on a solution to it and xaphan will release an update once it's finished.

Ok so with the help of your feedback and logs, Kingpin seems to have succesfully fixed both the issues with baskets (and other similar objects) and the one randomly crashing the game when you mouse-howered a monster.
I've also seen some anomalies on my end that I will fix quickly, and will release a small update (5.01) once done.
