Title: D2SE D2Scrabble Forgotten Realms version 7 by volf
Description: D2 Scrabble is a diablo2 expansion mod for 1.10 patch.
The mod ads letter items that allow you to form words in the horadric cube - Press transmute and the words become reality.
Well That was the basic idea but eventually the mod evolved in to a total conversion mod with loads of news skills, allot added to the world, high res, firearms, cars, horse riding, modern cities etc.

Hail,got a big problem cant play it it gives me an error after select a caracter.

If you post the error i might be able to help though i dont remember much about d2 or the mod.

Here is the problem.
Assertion Failure
Location : D2Common\DATATBLS\LvlTbls.cpp, line #1206
Expression : ii < NUM_LEVEL_TYPES

Satan666aghast, that is an aslr issue that happens with wind 7 to 10 from time to time. Caused by the extended levels plugin. The only solution i know of is to restart the computer until it decides to read the dll from the right location.

im using windows xp,but thanx anyway.

Hm odd. Guess the old notes from 2012 are wrong then. That said the error indicates that a new leveltype lacks automap entries though thats not the case. Back then coders came to the conclusin that the issue was the extended level plugin for d2mod system.

Now im thinking it might just be a problem with a particular version of rouge encampment as the error only happens occationally.
Need to test someday when i got time to brush up on modding. meanwhile you could try regenerating the automap files by making new characters or deleting map files for the existing char.

I have played this mod a long time ago and I was very happy that there is a new version. Thank you so much for that.
Unfortunately, I can't go any further. Play Assasins at level 8 and can't kill the undead right at the beginning. They don't lose a life no matter what I do.

Its not really a new version just the latest unreleased version recovered from a broken old drive.
Run away from the ones you cant kill and focus on easy kills wherever you seem to be getting hight exp.

Okay, I may have misrepresented myself. I already know that this is a continuation.
Yes, I can run away, but I still have to clean the cave and there are undead.

Just need to level a bit more elsewhere, craft better gear and come up with different strategies of taking them on or sneaking around them. Forgetting old character builds and gaming habits was the idea behind that change back in v6 something.

You should easily be able to level your character to lvl 25-40 during the early game

Only with the difference that I'm already at Assasine Level 31 and the game suddenly doesn't start anymore with this error message.

The only solution i know of is to restart windows and try again until it works.

Okay, thank you. I have restarted the PC several times, 5-6 times, and the mod starts again. Great.
