button glows

Post by cla$$ics » Mon Mar 03, 2008 1:08 pm

When trying to click on a link in the forum, it takes forever to be able to click on the link because the dark blue glow effect on the button is loading, and it makes my computer/PS3 lag. So if you could fix this, it shall make browsing the forum easier

What buttons are you reffering to, the forum buttons in posts are just plain old gif images with no effects

There's that white sheet of paper and some circle background around it that is blue. I think that's the point. Though the sheet of paprer+blue circle are just one image. I don't know what the problem is related to.

Mentioning what browser you're using would be a good start. [strike]I see no glow in firefox or opera at least.[/strike]

Edit: so it's the change in background color you're talking about... I have that, but no problems for me. Can't help you there.

Playstation 3 browser makes the buttons laggy, and I can see the glows in Firefox, Opera, IE, and PS3 browser
Heres what I'm talking about

It's a simple background color change. It shouldn't be loading at all. My guess is there is something else causing the lag.

I agree with onyx on this one. Probably the lag is caused by some script that is trying to load. What you are referring to is just an effect.

And I can agree with that too. I see you are using Mozilla Firefox on XP. Which version? What are you settings about scripts?

Using Firefox 2.0.0.1.2, and its my Playstation 3 that causes the lag, not the PC

All you can do is wait/hope sony fixes this issue in the next firmware update.

Making sure they know about it would probably be good too.
Should be a bug reporting tool somewhere, right?
