Yeah. I mentioned that somewhere on the forum. I guess they did away with that particular formula. Only magical stuff can be CW'ed into sets. :(

Jewels say +28% damage (or whatever value), when it adds only +28 - NOT percent. There seems to be a bunch of the "%" and just plain "+" used when they should be swapped to correctly reflect the items effect, not just with jewels.

also

the Ar bonuses are screwed all up for berserkers. say i have 3400 ar for normal attack. my ww is supposed ot add 200% yet with ww i have 4200. thats not near +200% not even + 100%. without the massive ar bonus from a teared wep you cant hit for crap in hell

zac503 is right! My 'zerker had an ar of 2100 and when I equipped a weapon (Colossus Sword +1 w/ 4 sockets to be exact) that added 185% to ar (I put a Sunstone in it and used a couple kinetics). Instead of going to 4200+, it only went to 2400! :OI: This irks me so. Please fix soon!
Darkness called... but I didn't hear the phone ring. He didn't leave a message either. I tried to star-69 darkness, but he didn't answer. Darkness needs to get DSL. His line is always busy!

Yes, and in Hell, like Zac said, that AR difference of a few hundred pretty much means jack-squat. You go from a 73% chance of hitting "Butt Snot the Flambouyant" to 73.133% (hypothetically).

The AR bonuses should come from your base AR without any modifiers. So any +AR from items don't have effect when the game counts the prosents.

Do the berserker's wep masteries count as base AR? Why such a relatively high ilvl for something so relatively crappy? What about the damage bonus? Same gripe there.
Since I'm complaining about inflated ilvl's; I got a ring that did 1-2 fire damage. ilvl 30. 30! 1-2 fire damage is USELESS by the time you're at that level.

HI I do not know if it is really a bug but when I am trying to play the mod my computer crashes every time I leave town .... Anyone knows why and what to do against it

Guess so ... I Backupt my original D2LoD data and unzipt the MOD . I can start the Mod but cannot leave town ... without crashing that is

could it be that it is becouse I got the german version of D2 and LoD ?

@ AlphaMaz: Yah, I know it doesn't matter in hell, but you see, i'm only in normal. YES, my character is still a neophyte. But if you remember my first few posts, especially when I started the strategy thread that turned into an OT thread, I said I exclusively used an Archer. Notice I said I was having trouble with my 'zerker. Not that any of you would care, but I just had to spit it out. :roll:

@ Xadhum: For the record, 2100 was my base attack rating. I also had no points in wep masteries in favor of extra points in warcries and combat skills. I also checked my equipment and charms for any +AR, and just to be sure I dropped all my charms and equipment and equipped a random regular bow and saw no change in my AR. So there. :P

@ Arzarnel: OMG I really think what you have there is a bug! :rotf: No offense if you're a noob or anything but I cannot justify that statement unless this is positively the first time you've ever played Diablo II. And I seriously doubt that.

@ AlphaMaz again: The Beserker's wep masteries shouldn't count as base for AR. And I agree with the ilvl, tho I can't think of an instance right now :OI: .

@ all: I'm really sorry to say this, but i've moved on to other mods. Namely AR. BGmod was cool while it lasted, but all good things must come to an end. Be certain of two things; one, i'll still be rooting around in the forums. Two, I will definitely return to BGmod's side when v1.06 Fix 1 or v1.07 comes out - whichever comes first. Actually, speaking of which, I will be getting another job soon (or in other words, returning to the real world) so I may not be rooting around in the forums as much as normal. :cry:

i havent been playing BG because of the lack of difficulty. not much of a challenge present, and as we know, challenge = hardcore gamers and hardcore gamers = good competition. its to easy for one char type to clean up and another to get owned. i need a good duel =P and it seems most people around here are silly uber sorc'ers...

Ok mr champion.. but not all players are so good as you you know:)
I believe the difficult is ok. I play the mod with a beserker and a sorcerer.
With a sorc its a piece of cake.. I agree with you, but with beserk its ok.
The true is that this mod need a little fixes with the items+ diff.

hell an nm diff needsta be ramped up alot. nimf's sorc can kill hell d in like 3 seconds. this irratates me. the cast speed of TS needs to be lowered alot . and the + 10 to barb masteries needs to be removed. so spheres affect all chars evenly

I like the change in Mercenaries. I liked all the Mercenaries except

the Fiery maiden and .. the archer.

Anyway, I choose the conjurer as my supporter expecting he uses

Corpse Explotion. He didn't... while i could see him.

and I saw a error message. 8-O I thought something else could cause the

error. But... I saw that twice it and then, I changed the mercenaries.

I haven't seen the error message after that.

Hi I have a Problem, that all etheral and set items only has a max. Durability of 2. Is this normal
