cool dude, but i cannot see hte pics that u uploaded! the high eleven harp and the rune circlet.
but u can see the text of pictures right? then it's not the problem of browser support (since i use xml technology)

the pictures are stored on google's picasaweb, if u can see the picture below, u should be able to see the rest of them.
http://lh5.google.com/tfwfans/RKhqjGUsA ... r_hood.jpg

(u can't see only these two pictures or can't see them all?)

EDIT: i have to admit that it should be the problem of google's picasaweb(can't load the image directly), i shall fix this tonight (proberly change to flickr)

thanks dude!

EDIT: graphics loading bug fixed....should be. thanks to flickr.

Except the link doesn't work. Please check your PM's...

@horan> Your website is getting quite impressive! I especially like the catalog of my extended boss aura list in your Gallery. I was thinking of using Char's tool to make web pages of the runewords, set items and uniques properties, but it would make best sense to forward those your way for formatting in your website style.

i am so glad that you guys all like it!

since there was a serious fire around where i lived, updating of the fan site stopped for a while. there're too many things i want to do and i shall try them one by one.

EDIT: just a quick ask, the runes didn't change from the original except the required level increased from rune Lem, right?

That is correct. There is one additional rune (Ski) above Zod, carried over from the original Ancients mod. The runewords are vanilla v1.11b runewords, perhaps with very few modifications...I forget what I did to that file but it wasn't much.

I added links to the official site and your fansite in the download Announcement.

it was so inspiring that Deathscythe and Myhrginoc you are getting insterests on this fan site. :) the best thing for a fan site ever is that the authors also enjoy it.

to Myhrginoc,
sure, the ski! and in the near future, i mean, do you intend to modify the attributes of runes(just like the traditional gems). if you have the similar plan or somthing, i shall also setup a database for the runes. or just a simple list to mention the changes will works fine.

i may have to ask you something about the "Char's tool" via pm. i am getting tooooo tired to type everything....

not sure if I should put this here, but it's based on info from the site so why not......

Just wondering if the lvl req on the gloves for the Traveller's Asset set is correct? I mean it sais lvl 42 req'd, when the rest of the set is only lvl 4 req'd.

And since I'm on the topic of sets, what are the odds of gambleing set, and uni. items?

Actually, if you look at the full set stats, Traveller's Steal would be highly overpowered for somebody roaming around in Blood Moor for the first time. So waiting until Act 2 or 3 Anger Arising to complete the set is not that unreasonable. Remember that L42 in TFW is roughly L21 in vanilla D2. This way, you can see many of the benefits of a set early on, but not be ridiculously over-potent in Act 1 AA.

Gambling rares, set items and uniques, and gambling exceptions and elites, is unchanged from vanilla in Anger Arising. In Heart of Rage the odds are 50% higher for better grades (less for exceptional/elite), and in Unleashed Fury the odds are double for better grades (again less for exceptional/elite).

Remember that L42 in TFW is roughly L21 in vanilla D2.
that would explain why my lvl 39 druid and my lvl 30 bowzon are both still haveing to run a lot in early act 2.....

ok, so basically you either have to be very lucky or very patient to get somthing good, or use alot of hit and run tactics till you reach heart of rage......good thing I love a challenge

the set item details on the fan site comes from on the info extracted by Myhrginoc (great great thanks again). since the info is based on baseitem, there might be little differences from the exact items appear in the game. i shall amend them while i can catch. if you guys found any, please scream it out!

Is there a chance of adding info on the new base item types? Specifically, things like whether a given new armor or shield is light/medium/heavy, and the weapon speed modifiers of the new weapons, you know, stuff that's hard to figure out for oneself.

That's my original idea on the site anyway (you can see I left a "normal" part on item section)...I will put them on soon, if possibly.

I may have to ask Myhrginoc about some details when he comes back. I am currently concentrating my work on TFW skill system.

Not bad for a start. One way of looking at the various skill levels might be to organize them into ranges:

apprentice: 1-10
journeyman: 11-20
adept: 21-30
master: 31-40
sage: 41-50

There are reasons for these breakpoints which are not obvious at first glance. One effect is that changes in per-level skill abilities happen at these breakpoints, not at the traditional breakpoints of 8,16,22 and 28. Another effect is that, once having advanced through the journeyman range it becomes even harder to progress than you might expect from watching your advancement to slvl 20.
Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.
