Low level character experience bug

Post by enq » Tue Mar 04, 2003 7:35 am

If you have a low level character and you die (losing 100% of your experience) then at times your total experience gained will wrap around and become a very large number starting with 4.

I will release a new version of the mod hopefully this week that fixes this problem. It may come out this weekend (I just got a new job so I am quite busy there :o )
The mod will come with quite a few changes that I have made since the previous version, some of which are very cool - more on that closer to release ;)

Anyway for those starting new characters, don't die :P
Bugger :D

odd, I never got that bug.

is this all characters or certain ones because I was playing an assassin, died at level 2 and never noticed the exp drop.
A secret is well kept by 3 people if 2 are dead

It should be with all characters - it has to do with the 100% experience loss in Normal. I'm not sure why it happens but the loss will be changed to 50% or more depending if they work (currently 50% does :))
