Acropolis Of The Black Eternity

Mod Maker: Black_Eternity

Story:
The story has the same basic plot, but most of the characters and bosses have been changed. Diablo is once again the ending boss fight.

Items:
A lot of the items have been changed, along with how some of them function.
There is at least 3 unique versions of every item. (White, Grey, Black)
There are not many sets... but there is at least 1 class specific version and 3 universal sets.

Runewords:
I've been brainstorming a lot of different variations for runewords. so far so good heres the specs.
Each runeword has multiple variations of itself. For example, based on the number of sockets an item has can determine how powerful the runeword can become.
In some situations it is possible to have the same runeword on every item equipable.

Monsters:
A lot of new monsters and bosses have been added, and many to come.
Most bosses have been changed or altered in some way. Act bosses have not been changed much, but there locations are elsewhere.

Side Quests:
Definition: Optional
NPC's will sell a variety of text scrolls that give information about areas where treasure is hidden (Usually guarded by a boss)
Each text scroll will cost a different amount depending on the difficulty, and cannot be read until it is bought.

Maps:
Inspired by PureRage, i hope to change a lot, or almost all, of the games maps. and even add more to the collection.
Some bonus areas will only be available through cube recipes.

Spoilers:
Classical Room: Open a portal by combining a grand piano and a stool to battle some famous classical pianists.
This map includes bosses like Beethoven, Bach, Alkan, Vivaldi, and a bunch more.

Starting here pretty soon i will create a change log and add a couple screenshots and what not.

possibly some more spoilers if you guys are lucky haha.

[UPDATE] 11/16/2011
All new armors successfully imported
Difficulties changed to White/Grey/Black
Magic Quivers added with different automagics
Bows/Crossbows use the same quivers

Not playable, at least extensively.
Note that the main features posted above were six years ago.
Obviously a lot has changed and files lost, but still working on it with spare time.
