==============
There are no English installation instructions, so here are two ways to get started.
Method 1 - with D2 v1.10 in your game directory: Unpack the .rar file in your game directory. Run PlugY_Install.exe, then D2ModSetup.bat once each to prepare the game. Then run Prophecy.bat to start the mod. You will need a clean backup of d2gfx.dll and patch_d2.mpq to play normal D2.
Method 2 - required for dual/multi version: You must have a v1.10 installation on your computer, or have the v1.10 files to run dual or multiple version. Unpack the .rar file into a mod directory below your Diablo II directory. Use the Mod Launching Scripts or a shortcut to start game.exe for v1.10, but be sure to add the -mod Prophecy switch to the command line (D2CmdLine in the VB script). With a v1.10 version of d2gfx.dll in the mod directory, run d2modseup.exe. Then edit Prophecy.ini to include the line plugY=plugY.dll in the [D2MOD] section.

We don't mind you maintaining an off-site forum to promote and discuss your mod. But please be careful to avoid discussing any private realms there, or we must ask you to remove any links from here to your board.Anson";p="244017" wrote:For discussions you can use this forum:

Re: Prophecy
Excellent! I should have said previously I was not implying or assuming anything. But one of our now-former members couldn't see our point so we're all a little sensitive on the topic.
I've looked over your mod myself, and I like the graphical interface quite a bit. I haven't played enough to get a feel for the game, other than it definitely is harder to get a character going than in vanilla D2. It looks promising!
