I can't find "http://www.d2mods.info/forum/kb.php?mode=article&k=158". when i type it into my address bar, it says that it cannot find the site.
and when i click on the D2 icon, a screen comes up saying= d2win.dll is linked to the missing file d2lang.dll. i cannot find d2lang.dll.

If you remove the 'www' from that URL it works.
I do not know why, but it does.
As for the second question...
Can you see any dll files? Most windows computers hide them by default as they can cause your machine not to work if you delete them or something.
As for the error, Zhoulomcrist would hopefully be able to assist you there.

Check your Diablo II directory and see if d2lang.dll is in it. If not, download the 1.10 Final version DLL files (ZIP Compressed) from the File Center here and extract the D2LANG.DLL file to your Diablo II directory.
