They were legends : Introducing the Hustler cabal
Well, the seventh cabal is no longer a dream ... They awakened from their long silence to join the fight.
The background :
The Hustler cabal was a former clan of thief and other so-called out laws peoples. They were left out of the pact for years but with the upcoming threat, it seems that even darker fellows are needed. The members of this cabal is neither affiliated with the two evil cabals nor strongy tied by the johrulis pact ... They just stand their , thinking that this ol'demon stuff is making business harder ... and so they have to keep things in order.
Base Stats : Dexterity and Vitality
Here's the three subclass :
1) Bard : Using music & rithms to perform magic spell, the bards are
strange spellcaster and treasure hunter.
Sample Skills :
* Song of the Nightingale : A 8sec bonus of AR and AC given to party. requires a musical instrument to be cast.
* Sonic Resonance : A wave of sound chaos spread over enemies. Act as a Shockwave Nova exploding in shockwave nova on hit ... etc ... Do little damage but stun enemies.
2) Nightcrawler : You ever wonder where you lost your last gold coins ...
look in your abck and try to see the nightcrawler that just stole you ... Nightcrawlers are master in the tricky art of thievery, bribery and other illegal stuff.
Sample Skill :
* Blackjack : a head, a club => stunned guy. that's the basic. The blackjack attack is a never-miss stunning attack.
* Shadowhide : staying still in darkness is somewhat a good defence strategy ... This skill allow the Nightcrawler to gain some second of immunity and lure monster away, giving him a few sec to runaway very slowly ...
* Legerdemain : Wealth is not a matter. ... Nightcrawler have basic abilities to find glds and other valuables. passive +gold%/-price% skill.
3) Brawler : A pure martial artist. Weapons are useless for them, bare body is enough ! Long hidden in circus or other theater troups, they start to resume their not-so-legal ability ...
Sample Skills :
* Snake Skin : the body of the <acrobat> is very slick and swift, it can escape any melee attack.
* Marrow : A multiple kick that did incread damage as long as it's used (think frenzy).
PS : AND yes that'll make 7 cabals of 36 skills each ...

Re: They were legends now they may come true ....
Joel I remember in Thorne of Baal (baldur's gate 2 expansion) one of the profession for thief was something similar to the acrobat you described.
don't remember if the name was Swashbuckler or something like that in english since I played the spanish version thus don't know the names in english.
for the cabal name hmmm "rabble?" "Rascal?"
hmm I can't think on a good name for the cabal, I hope someone comes with a better name.

Looking good so far Joel.
Some possible names could be either pirate, brigand or thief.

Re: They were legends : Introducing the Hulster cabal
This is fabulous to hear. Another Cabal!
BTW, for the bard, you can use some of my bard skill ideas of the past(scroll down about half the page), if you want to. Although, especially with 1.10, there are probably better skills to create, I guess

Yay! Looks great and fits well
By the way, nice re-design. I like it! Just can't find the complete screenshot section (or is it supposed to see only one image at a time without being able to access anymore? You just want more refreshs/ hits, you greedy thing, you ^^ )

Re: They were legends : Introducing the Hustler cabal
The complete screenshots section is currently in developpement.
I try to find a nice way to organize it, something better than a big page of screens.
