Need help fixing D2 bugs

Well, I hear that in v1.10 there are a few bugs in 1 player mode that was fixed only in battle.net; one is that the fire, lightning, and cold enchanted do much more damage than they must do (in hell make the lightning and/or fire enchanted a REALLY hell for hc chars); other is a few runewords losts (that was discover by some users in battle.net).

Where can I get fixed txt files free of this bugs? Or how can I fix it? (I know how edit txt files, but don't know where can edit the enemyes properties, like fire enchanted) There are more bugs in 1 player mode?

You can adjust MonsterCEDamagePercent (CE = Corpse Explosion?) in DifficultyLevels.txt to limit some of the FE explosion damage. But the rest of FE and LE damage is hardcoded.

The damage from the LE bolts and Cold Enchanted nova is controlled by missiles.txt. I am certain about this because I changed the damage-types for both durning Xy15.

I found in the file Missiles.txt the rows "coldunique" and "lightunique" that must be (I think) for the Cold and Lightning Enchanted effects respectively, there are not "fireunique" but are "fireexplode", can be this row the Fire Enchanted effect?

Fireunique does not do fire damage, it just uses corpse explosion on itself.

The fixes that are made on realm is just lower the damage of what I have heard. So, that are not really a fix of the bug itself.

The change to "MonsterCEDamagePercent" in difficultylevels.txt is the only change I know of for fire enchanted. Just lower the values, especially in hell :) it basically is the % damage of the corpse explosion that FE monsters get.


But there is that bug with the ancients that kills you in one... with Fire Enchanted (not the explodey bit, just on hit), it was fixed online but it would probably require code editing to fix.

Was the bug that the Fire Enchanted monster is simply so strong it does 2X your life in damage with each swing? I've noticed that fire enchanteds were always the highest damage out of all of them.... But not so much in single player. I'm thinking it might be that the damage is somehow increased with the number of players.....

Thats because FE's exploding dmg is based solely on the number of players in a game, so certainly in SP it will not take effect a lot.

Um I was thinking of the melee damage actually.... Maybe it's just me though.

Anyone did fix FE Bug ? Or what MonsterCEDamagePercent must be placed to remove instant death ? Or what i must to edit to prevent this fire enchant bug because can't do one normal run especially in Travincal :(

There are a ton of topics describing how this bug needs to be fixed, and its not that simple; the easiest and sloppiest one is rewriting all the on-death & on-hit UMods that rares get to make them check that they haven't already triggered in that frame (this bug stems from FE/CE/LE/PE triggering multiple times in a frame).

In your case just either set the MonsterCEDamagePercent to 0, or a really lower number, or just prevent it from spawning via monumod (you will still have issues though).
