Hiding laggy vines

Hiding laggy vines

While playing on Tcp/ip with my buddy (a summon druid), he insists on using his poison creeper which really lowers my average fps when im around him.

My question is, what can I edit to remove the vines animations? (the vine its self, the dead vine, the trails of goo it leaves behind)

There are a couple of near recent posts regarding related summons/traps.
Just look through the posts and you'll find what you need. ;)

The vines are different 90% of their gfx is in missiles.txt

thanks, i got it. i assumed it was in monstats2.txt and got confused when i deleted pretty much everything to do with vines in that file with no results. btw, it would seem that 100% of their animations (excluding portraits) are in missles.txt

OMG LOL why you wanna make all invisible? you are creating a new "all is invisible" mod? or testing on slow computer?
im looking for later topics you wanna disable darkness in game (y looked for darkness and you hate it lol :D)

mirecek: he quite clearly told why exactly he wants to remove / change the animations.... it lags for him. this is by no means any reason to make any sort of fun of him.
