Difficulty with automods on misc items

Post by Tuy » Tue Jul 15, 2008 10:26 pm

I am trying to put a red-dam automod that I successfully implemented on armor on to a new "misc" item that I created. I put in the auto prefix column into misc.txt and put "misc" into itype3 in automagic.txt. The levels on all of these things are set to 1, but the automod still does not appear whenever the item is dropped.

I have tried searching the forum, but based on the information that I have gathered in the threads, it should be working. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Sounds like there is a wrong itemtype code or item code placed somewhere.

Post exactly what you did. :)

Thanks for the reply. It was a wrong item type code.

Fortunately everything is working now.
