Poison Dagger working with Ranged Weapon?

In Skills.txt I removed "knife" from "itypea1" and changed "h2h" to "both" from range. And Now, it is working with any melee weapon, but when i have bow, i must go close to enemies otherwise it not work. What i must change to make it work even when i shooting for afar?

Try to remove those 1's:

Some skill functions are coded to only work within melee range of an enemy, even if you enable ranged weapons with them. I remember having the same issue with assassin charge-up skills, and I couldn't figure a way to fix it.

wouldnt it be easier to clone enchant and change the element?

Try cloning poison arrow, change the anim mode to A1 and itemtype to bow. Then change the missile's cell file to Poisonarrow and use the recolored fire arrow below.

Note: AnimLen should be set to 8
