Modding Diablo 2 LOD

Hey guys. So I'm used to modding diablo 2 hacks (i.e Eastern Sun) But now I just wanna try modding the regular Diablo 2 games, make some changes and go from there. Ive already run into issues. I just editing hireling.txt and I get an error code when I try to run the game.

Error code is : Halt Location #92 Expression: Unrecoverable internal error 6fff627e8

Might be good to explain what you changed;). Also you can go through your changes step by step to see which one cause the crash.
