Enable skills on left skill bar does not make work anymore necro curse skills

Hallo,
every time i enable in the skills.txt a skill to be used in left bar skills (e.g. Blizzard or Nova) the necro curse skills stop to work (i.e. the curse animation on the selected monster is not shown).

Any suggestion to fix it?

This arises from using an improper text editor. I suggest using AFJ Sheet to read and save text files. When you use Excel and presumably other programs, information is lost because they cannot properly read the columns, resulting in curses to stop functioning properly no matter what is changed.

In my case, I went ahead and opened it in Excel. I changed attack by setting 'noammo' to '1' and then saved. When I started up the game, curses stopped functioning.

You was right, Excell altered the file.......
I tried AFJ Sheet as you suggested and worked like a charm
