Is hireling's voice semi-hard coded

I managed to change act 2 hire to amazon appearance. There's one problem left, which is the voice. Based on my brief testing, it seems all the male hires are using the same set of voices, even though there are multiple sets of voice in the sounds.txt. So currently if i change act 2 hire to a female voice, ironwolf and bar will automatically have the same female voice. I dont seem to find any field in the txt where a hire is referenced to a specific voice, so i assume this is hard coded? Is there a tutorial showing how to reference a hire to a sound, so that each male hire can have a difference voice? And this will allow me to change only act 2 hire to female sound without impacting ironwolf and bar...
